Nimal was our guide for the majority of our 2 weeke trip around Sri Lanka. He drove us all over including Sigiriya, Kandy, Ella, Udawalawe, Ahangama and Galle. Nimal always went above and beyond to enrich our experience - there’s a side of Sri Lanka we wouldn’t have seen without him - especially the surfing on Ahangama beach which was not part of our original plan! We visited just after the extreme flooding in Sri Lanka and Nimal always put our safety first. Despite the effects of the flooding he still managed to drive us to all our locations on our plan. Nimal spoke to locals and tourist attractions on our behalf to ensure we weren’t overcharged on prices and also helped us to get private tours with just us and a guide often - without him we definitely wouldn’t have had the same experience. He also had lots of stories and showed us lots of interesting things on the way including buffalo curd on the side of the road and king coconuts! We’d highly recommend Nimal and will be doing so to our family and friends!
Classic Sri Lanka Highlights

8 Days · 7 Nights private tour, hosted by Ceylon Quay
Private chauffeur · 4 signature experiences · fully customisable
This package is designed as an all-rounder. It works for travellers who want to understand Sri Lanka properly without trying to cover every region in one trip. Instead, it selects the best contrasts: culture, hills, movement through the interior, and a softer coastal finish.
The strength of this route is balance. It avoids becoming too heritage-heavy, too nature-specific, or too rushed, making it one of the most practical first journeys on the island.
